Tactical Operations 1 (3 day)Course Content This training is designed for law enforcement officers assigned to a drug, vice or tactical investigative unit, or patrol officers where the unit’s primary role is to investigate and apprehend serious, or violent law violators. The course will focus on the dangers of any undercover operation and planning issues to include undercover operations, vehicle take downs, and buy busts. Tactical procedures include tactics for dynamic entries, search warrant tactics, breeching, vehicle take downs, structure entries, member responsibilities and associated general tactics. Agent rescue training will cover tactics, responsibilities, equipment needed, methods of trauma care. Several other topics covered are designed to enhance the student’s perspective and intuitive ability such as body language and pre-attack indicators, flash roll management, mental preparation, mindset for peak performance and confidential informant management. Tactical Operations 2 (3 day)Course Content This two-day, 16-hour course is for law enforcement officers assigned to a narcotic, vice, tactical or street crimes unit within their agency where they will be executing search warrants or other dynamic arrest type situations. This is a continuation of Tactical Operations 1, building on the techniques taught. This training will take the student from scenario-based training to performing the techniques during live fire exercises. Tactical Courthouse (1 or 2 day)Course Content This course is designed for law enforcement and or armed officers assigned to courthouse security. During recent years violence has increased inside and outside our courthouses within the United States. Your courthouse is only as safe as the skill level and mindset of the officers who protect it. This is a one or two day mixture of classroom and practical, stair step approach to teach the student officer how to perform physically under stress, during violent encounters against citizens and employees at the courthouse as well as the officer. Ambush Tactics (2 day)Course Content This two day course is designed for law enforcement officers assigned to uniform patrol, street crimes or a violent offender unit. This course has minimal classroom mixed with practical hands on training. It will teach the student how to perform physically under stress during violent encounters against them and the citizens in their community. This course includes two training segments which include both tactical and medical. Upon completing the course students will receive a certificate for law enforcement responders in TECC/TCCC and a certificate for tactical patrol techniques. With increasing violence to law enforcement officers, practical scenario based training is paramount to their survival. Officers must be prepared mentally and physically to deal with any type of violent encounter. Situational Awareness for Healthcare and Social Service ProfessionalsCourse Content This 1-day course examines the dangers faced by professionals whose job responsibility includes but is not limited to interviewing clients and assessing medical, psychological, emotional and social information. Undercover Surveillance TechniquesCourse Content This three day course is designed for law enforcement officers assigned to a unit where conducting surveillance is part of their assigned duties. Too often members are assigned to a specialized unit with little to no experience in surveillance techniques. Properly planned and executed surveillance missions greatly increase the probability of successful and important evidence gathering and follow-up on missions conducted against the targeted individual(s), as well as the arrest of the individual(s). During this program students will participate in practical exercises utilizing different surveillance methods incorporating foot surveillance, as well as mobile vehicle surveillance. Advanced Undercover Surveillance TechniquesCourse Content This three-day, 24-hour course is designed for law enforcement officers assigned to a unit where conducting surveillance is part of their duties. As it often occurs, criminal operations do not take place only during daylight hours, they most often take place at night. This surveillance class will be taught primarily at night, with specific tactics covered to achieve success while working during nighttime operations. A carefully planned and executed surveillance mission will be the difference between success and failure. During this course students will participate in practical exercises utilizing vehicle and foot surveillance. Additionally, advanced surveillance techniques will be covered to include, but not limited to vehicle boxing and takedowns, vehicle switching, unpopulated areas, and heavily trafficked intersections. De-escalation Tactics for the Social Services ProfessionalCourse Content De-escalation Tactics (4 - hour virtual or 8 - hour in person training course) This program can be delivered to the audience either virtually or in-person. Our society is becoming more and more angry each day. There is a high probability that anyone who has daily human-to-human contact will interact with potentially violent individuals who abuse substances, are mentally ill, or are struggling with anger issues. This course explores the causes of escalation and outlines a realistic approach to de-escalating angry and hostile individuals while developing an exit strategy before the contact turns violent. Riot and Crowd Control TacticsCourse Content This two-day (16 hour) course includes both in classroom lecture and hands-on application. The course covers the preparedness, planning, staging, equipment and deployment for a crowd management program. Students will learn current deployment tactics for violent crowds and riots. Recent events will be reviewed and students will determine what worked vs. what did not work. The following topics will be covered during this training course:
Who Should Attend:Any certified law enforcement officer that may be called upon and or utilized in any civil disorder, violent crowd or riot situation. Students need to bring all their agency issued crowd/riot control protective equipment for the training. This includes helmet, face shield, riot shield, baton, gas mask, ballistic vest and protective pads, as well as any additional equipment.

Single Officer Response to an Active ThreatCourse Content Preservation of life is by far the most important function of first responders. The term “Active Threat/Shooter” has evolved since the Columbine High School mass killing on April 20, 1999. Training related to these mass killings has continued to change throughout the years. Currently, the focus is responding with a single officer to the active threat with backup officers filling in as they arrive. This course was originally designed with school resource officers as the main audience. The content in this course applies to any officer who is expected to respond as a single officer to an active threat or shooter event. Therefore, this course can be adapted for law enforcement officers, no matter their role. Tactics involved with mass killings are perishable skills. It would be most difficult for police officers training only once each year to retain all the skills needed to respond with confidence to an active threat event.
