Course Content
This two-day, 16-hour course is for law enforcement officers assigned to a narcotic, vice, tactical or street crimes unit within their agency where they will be executing search warrants or other dynamic arrest type situations. This is a continuation of Tactical Operations 1, building on the techniques taught. This training will take the student from scenario-based training to performing the techniques during live fire exercises. This is a hands-on training course with minimal classroom and maximum realistic training. The following topics are covered during this training course:
- Low light structure clearing techniques
- Flashlight techniques: non-mounted and weapon mounted flashlights
- Breaching refresher techniques with hands on breaching
- Low light team movement
- Live fire moving and shooting
- Shield techniques with live fire drills
- Low light dynamic entry techniques with live fire drills
- Less lethal and deadly force decision making utilizing scenario-based training
Who Should Attend: Law enforcement officers assigned to a narcotics, vice or tactical investigative unit or a patrol unit where the member’s primary role is to investigate and apprehend narcotics violators or related offenders.
